The United Fakes of America

So hard to make peace in the world when everyone is for themselves


A place where we were meant to unite but seem to intentionally do the opposite, yet we become upset when all else fails


So hard to understand and love others for who they are


Simply because everyone is following someone else's footsteps, failing to make their own, not even knowing  themselves just who they are


Money hungry and lust filled earth filled with confusion and contradictions of the past


Baggage carried continuously on overload so now the aches settle and the pain tends to last


A jaded and depressed land of troubles that never make it to see the smiles


Lives taken for granted everyday  with more people stooping down than standing up followed by silenced replies


A great depression gone bad recession turns into a sour lesson that no one seems to be repressed in


Stressing the mind to know what is and not what is just told by our leaders seems to constantly be a battle it just can't win


An exception used to excuse every excuse given to us possible


Gives America less hopes on a mission that seems nearly impossible


Wondering if we will all come in union and put the puzzle pieces back together...


or will we continue to watch our nation become the  United Fakes of America
