BABY MAMA DRAMA

So I was bothered by a situation and since this is my blog, you get to read and hear it ALL :)
Ready? Set, Let's Go...

A male friend of mine that I've known for some time now was scheduled to see his daughter for the weekend and suddenly on the day of, the mother says she doesn't want the daughter to go with him. He asks why and she says that the daughter did not want to go. He asks to speak with her and the mother says no. Anyone find anything wrong with this picture? Not yet? Okay...

So let me include that this man is there financially for his daughter and attempts to be there physically and emotionally for her as well, but the mother seems to be in the way. She is upset from a situation that has nothing to do with the child, but yet the child is stuck in the middle. Who's to say the child said she didn't want to go, but how many children have the option not to? Who's to say the child said she did want to go, but her mother didn't allow her to? Why would you not want a man to do his job as a father?

At some point ladies, you must come to the realization that it's not about you. It's about the child! We women complain year after year about dead beat dads, but when a good one comes along, it's still an issue. Learn to step outside of your emotions for the sake of the child. They need that bond with their fathers and if the father wants to be there, why complicate it? Be blessed that help is there and take it. I'm not a baby mama, but I wouldn't want my child to ever have less than what they are entitled to and could have. Baby mamas, let's step it up and recognize the good men and fathers out there.

*This blog is dedicated to all the fathers out there making it happen. I see you*
